As every January 30,
Menendez y Pelayo has made the day of peace and nonviolence. This year we celebrated
with more enthusiasm because we are part of the great international
Comenius project based on the theme Peace at home, Peace in the World. With the help of our
music teacher Juanjo, who has adapted the famous John Lennon's song "All we
are saying is give peace a chance", all students, teachers and families
have participated in a joint dance for peace. Students also participated in different activities in their classes, such as murals, posters, globes decorated with peace symbols, poems, written works on the biography of famous people who have received the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize .
